This loop ride takes in not only the wine growing area called Gimblett Gravels, but you can view other crops growing in the fertile Hawkes Bay Heretaunga Plains, such as corn, apples, onions and asparagus depending on the season.

Starting from the Hastings Golf Club ride the Hawkes Bay Wine Trail in an anti-clockwise direction.
Route Hastings Golf Club – Maraekakaho Rd – Stock Rd – Wilson Rd – Oak Ave (Ormond Rd). River trail towards Fernhill- Roy’s Hill Reserve – Ngatarawa Rd- Hastings Golf Club.
